Knee Surgery Update

Just a quick update on my knee. I went back for my 6 month checkup last Wednesday. The docs performed a physical evaluation and a MRI. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful and there was little to no sign of the cartilage graft they put in last July. What happened is only speculation (over zealous therapists, lack of blood flow, etc...) and you can imagine my disappointment at being amongst the 35% failure rate.

According to my cutting edge doc, there is nothing further that can be done to help my knee. I am still prohibited from impact sports and exercises until seeing him again in July. Looks like running and skiing will have to wait, but diving and kayaking on the other hand...
